Expenses

Client agrees to reimburse Contractor in full for all associated expenses incurred in providing the services agreed upon in this contract. These will include all travel costs, accommodation and a reasonable amount of sustenance including 3 meals per day if the contractor is working away from home.

Overtime

A working day is a maximum of 12 hours long. Overtime is charged at time and a half of full rate and calculated pro rata.

Any travel time getting to or from a shooting location on a shoot day will be included in the day’s chargeable hours.

Deposit and Payment terms

Payment is due in full no later than 28 days after submission of Contractor’s final invoice.

Late Payment

Client agrees to pay Contractor a further 10% of the total overdue amount, for each 7 days that the outstanding amount is overdue. This 10% will be added accumulatively and weekly to the outstanding amount.

Rights

The Client grants the rights to the Contractor to exploit any materials produced under this contract for the specific purpose of promoting the production related services offered by the Contractor in this agreement. This will include the rights to upload the material, in part or in full, to the Contractor’s choice of video sharing websites such as Vimeo or Youtube, as well as any social media platforms. The Contractor shall not publish any material produced under this contract online at least 60 days before the Client has posted the same material online.

If the deliverables of this contract are finished edits, as opposed to raw material, the Contractor retains exclusive rights on all raw materials not used within the finished edits. The Client will only have rights on materials used with in the final deliverables.

The Contractor retains all rights on materials produced under this contract until after the Client has paid any outstanding invoices relating to this contract.

Raw Material Transfer

The Contractor reserves the right to delete all raw materials produced under this contract after 30 days of receiving any outstanding payments due. If the Client wishes to retain a copy of the raw materials the necessary hardware such as external drive will need to be provided to the Contractor for transfer, and all associated expenses such as courier services will need to be covered by Client.

Cancellation Fee

A 30% cancellation fee will be charged if the Client cancels a job after the job has been confirmed.
